another husband (besides her only husband john wilbur fiske tucker) has been attached to my great-grandmother mary richard (smith) tucker (1849-1880) of amherst co, virginia. in addition she has been assigned extra parents [besides her legitimate ones richard preston smith (1808-1851) and mary elizabeth tucker (1812-1875)]. per the aug 10 geni "witt family newsletter" julia lee myers merged profiles and updated mary r. smith's profile. i have contacted mrs myers and she reports she did not merge any files. i cannot remove the errant marriage or the assigned child or assigned extra parents. any suggestions?
