When using Geni in French, when editing a profile, under "Parcours professionnel" (Work), after entering a value in the occupation field and clicking on save, the focus goes on the "year" field of start date and gets stuck there. The value entered in the occupation field cannot be saved.
The work around is to change language to English, re-enter the value, save, then change the language back to French.
