i keep getting smart matches,but most of them match my tree AGAINST my own tree,CAN NOT MATCH my own tree,

can you filter these out.

thanks for the help,BUT i now only have  GENI ,but i still get  smart matches from the other site and can not match up anyone

because i no longer a member to it.i have left a note at the site letting everyone know.michael

  It's possible if you have duplicates in your own tree - we call it a cycle (or pedigree collapse) and you do want to merge them.  But if they're not the same person, then you just have to say no match.

  I have the same PROBLEM.

  I don't have duplicates in my tree.

  Years ago I uploaded my Geni's GEDCOM to MyHeritage site. Now that you have joined, I get A LOT OF MATCHES in my Geni tree that refer to my "other tree" in My Heritage. The problema is that it is not "other" tree, it is the same tree in Geni, only uploaded at MyHeritage.

  I wouldn't like to delete MyHeritage's tree because I have a lot of pictures and data there.

  ¿Can you avoid matching my Geni with MyHeritage? There are the same tree.

  Just login on your MyHeritage account and disable it.
