Dear Sir and Madam,
my name is Farhud Mortazavi and I have a basic account on Geni. Although my profile is completely private the picture of my wife which I added can be seen in google. If you enter "Katayoun Ameri" in Google under pictures you can see her picture and also if you click on it you can see her fathers name etc. How is this possible? I put everything on private. Please let me know what I can do do avoid this.

Farhurd, since Katayoun's profile is claimed, she is in control of the privacy of her profile photo. By default, the photo was public (but I think that has been changed recently). The setting can be reviewed here: https://www.geni.com/account_settings/profile_privacy Also, you can disable the ability for Google to index your profile in permissions: https://www.geni.com/account_settings/permissions/ "Let the public search for me (profile privacy settings apply)". I can say that the photo is no longer visible on the Geni profile, so it should get removed from the Google cache soon.
