Not an idea, but a real problem!

Dear Geni support

I have a problem, I hope you can solve.

My father at 90 year, would last Tuesday use Geni to congratulate his nice with her birthday.

But she doesn’t have an e-mail, so my father put in the email of her brother living in same town, and send her a GENI-birthday-cake via his email.

But now the GENI-tree collapsed in that corner of the family tree. You must use the email as an basic individual information, because from then you (the Geni tree) mix-up the two siblings with new or shared husband/ex-husband/sons/names etc.

My cousin Mogens have tried to fix up the damage, but have given up. Therefore I hope you can solve the problem, maybe you can “run” our family tree back to the way it wore last weekend?

Ebbe, I'll try to help you out here. It looks like you have multiple trees. So I think the first thing to do is merge the tree to clean it up. Then, if needed, we can address account confusion, though it looks like Grethe's account is not claimed by email, but Morgens account is. So as long as his email is associated with his account, we should be good there.
