Unable to log into Geni

My mother gets this message when trying to log into Geni. What can she do? Br. Nikolaj Bøgh

  I don't see any pending merges on your mother's profile or on a daughter, so perhaps it's an old link she's using from an email?

  I'd suggest having her go directly http://www.geni.com and trying to log in directly.

  It's a new link, and we have tryed to log directly into Geni directly as well. With exactly the same result :-(

  I think I know what is happening.  The email address that was added to your mother's profile is the same email address that is being used for your sister.  When Geni sees that two profiles have the same email address, it tries to merge them into a single profile (as the email address is the unique identifier for an account), but the software won't let a mother's profile be merged with her child, so it presents this error.  I'm going to send you a private message so we can get this worked out - I'm pretty sure we can fix it.
