While entering the birthplace for an aunt of me I entered the name of the suburb of the place and Geni filled in correctly the rest (Bplace_bug1.PNG).
But after save the text visible on the profile page is not correct (Bplace_bug2.PNG)
Going back to edit, the data is however correct (Bplace_bug3.PNG).
This seems to be a bug.

Thanks for the report - Geni released some code this week that changed how locations were handled and displayed in an effort to address loss of "Place" data. However, their was some negative feedback from users on the change. So Friday, they rolled back most of the code so as not to cause too much confusion over the weekend - back to the drawing board as they say. They'll review it Monday and see how they can better address the issues and in doing so, I'm sure they'll resolve these display problems.
