I tried to look for my family by putting my name in, and now Geni insists on my starting a new tree.  I don't want  to start a new tree....i want to find my OLD one.

  Ellen, your Geni account is defined by your email address.  So if you have an existing tree on Geni (which I think I see one that might be you), then try to log in with your other email address.  If you can't remember it, let me know (reply back here) and I'll send you a private message to try and get you reconnected.

  Thanks for the info Jeff....but how do I log in with the OLD email?  Every time I get on the sight my name shows up, and I can't find a place to enter my old email address.  HELP

  Try this first.  Go here and add your old email address to your current account.  https://www.geni.com/account_settings/email_password

  This should send an email to your other account asking you to merge the two profiles.  That might be easier. :)

  You have been very helpful Jeff.  Now...how can I OPEN my family tree???  I belong to the HOLTZ  family tree, and can't seem to get there.  My husband recently passed away, and I want to make that notation.  don't remember how to get into the tree.
