Birth Order for Bio/Adopted Children

I have a sister which was adopted to my family. Her birth number is 9 from his bio family and 6 from his adopted family. It seems that her birth order always follow the adopted family. Even though I had tried to update her birth order from her bio siblings, it will be auto corrected to follow adopted siblings. I had also tried to clear her birth order from her adopted family but still fail to update her bio birth order.

I do believe this is something was not carefully designed and implemented during adoption feature release.

  Muammar, I was able to set it.  The trick is to set the order on one of the siblings.  She should show up in the ordering for both families and you can drag her into place.  If you go to her profile directly, it only lists one of the families.  Perhaps changing the focus parents would change it, but it's easy to just set the order via a sibling.

  I tried changing the parents set and it didn't change the siblings listed in the ordering, so the only way I know how to set it on the other family is by changing the order via a sibling.  We should try to get a change that will switch the siblings listed based on what the [2] is set to.

  That is right Jeff. I did tried earlier that I can successfully change my adopted sisters birth sequence through my profile(her adopted side). But it still failed if I tried to change her birth sequence through one of his biological siblings. So now her birth order only have one number(which currently is 9) for both sides.

  Anyways, it does really looks a bit weird when someone look into the birth sequence of a family with adopted siblings. Sometimes it even shows overlap birth sequence(highlighted with red color) because the order number of an adopted children follows his/her biological side and this number conflicts with her adopted siblings. Hopefully there is a better way to show the birth sequence when there is an adopted children in the list.
