Geni Search Results Contrary to Geni Profile and Tree Information?

I am having problems with Geni irregularities.   I have been tracking great grandparents of my granddaughter and son-in-law, in particular, and get erroneous distant cousins from Geni when the profiles of the prior order great grandparents  imply the next order great grandparents for the parents.   This first started with the Hatch and Sherman families using a Safari Browser.   Then I would get initial confirmation that my-profile great grandfather results were correct from doing the same Geni-search on Firefox.  Then eventually the same erroneous distant cousin classification showed up in  Geni with Firefox. I complained to the curators on the Profile for Matthew Hatch, Sr.  (1735, 1804 (69)), about the problem, but have not got any response yet,  although it looks like a Geni-programming-algorithm problem.   Another related problem is with the Sherman family, starting with Abraham Sherman (1704, 1773 (69)).   The problem seems to be volatile and contagious.

However, I lost the Matthew Hatch, Sr. file with the incorrect 7th GGF result, so I am attaching an incorrect result for Isabel Sherman (Tripp)     (c. 1651, 1665 (44)) that has a distant cousin result instead of the correct 9th GGM result as implied by the Geni Tree and Profiles.

Sincerely,

Floyd Bliss Hanson (Pro)
