Jeff, Geni Curator Depends on the complaint. For most issues, Geni support is reserved for Pro members. However, Curators can help at no cost with most support issues if you have a particular problem you wish to explain. If it's something they'll handle without a Pro membership, I can let you know, such as a TOS violation or resetting the email when you no longer have access to the account.

Jeffrey Fox MBE An unauthorised person has added incorrect details on to my tree. I have blocked and reported him but nothing has happened and I am unable to delete what he has added.

Jeff, Geni Curator Happy to help correct errors and incorrect details. There is a curator thread that can quickly assist in fixing errors: https://www.geni.com/discussions/142108
As far as "my tree", you should know that Geni is a shared collaborative tree. When duplicates are found between two trees, the trees are merged into a single branch and users collaborate on the tree. Having someone add conflicting information is common and we just select the most accurate data and try to document it. Often blocking has a negative effect on collaboration and correcting errors in the tree, unless that person specifically set out to vandalize the tree and intentionally add incorrect information. Here is more information on the way Geni works and why we work toward a single tree: https://www.geni.com/worldfamilytree/learn-more
So we'll absolutely help you fix errors, but know going in that this is a collaborative tree and the other person likely has a similar interest in an accurate tree for their ancestors / family. Work together to identify the correct information and document it.
When requesting help in fixing errors, please identify the profile and describe what the problem is.

Jeffrey Fox MBE A person has clicked on an incorrect match and given my Aunt a second marriage that she never had. He has then added a whole tree to this incorrect relationship. I need to know how to remove all that he has added and have him advised of his mistake. How do I achieve this?

Jeff, Geni Curator Could you provide a link to the profile of your aunt or perhaps her name so that I can find her. I'll then look at the history and identify what happened and remove the invalid connection / tree. I'll also try to identify who made the connection, which may not be the same person as the one who manages that branch. The other person may be as confused as you as to why they were connected.

Jeffrey Fox MBE You are being most helpful, thank you. My Aunt is Olga Bieber and someone has added a second husband, which she never had! My Uncle and her only husband was Alfred Bieber..
-
Jeff, Geni Curator No problem - I've unmerged the profiles of Olga, but currently have left the other profile Olga as her sister. We can disconnect this easily enough, but I figured it worth discussing with the other person, as he seems to think his Olga is also the daughter of Simon & Sybil born in 1911. So I can understand how they were merged, thinking that she had two husbands. I rather not just disconnect his connection without discussing the conflict first. You should get a notification when I start the discussion.

Cynthia Roche OK so apparently I must upgrade to the pay option to even get back into what I've already entered? I have decades of material entered, and many photos. Very unfair that I cannot access this info!
