My fathers's family were the Schonthals, Because 2 brothers married 2 sisters there were at least 18 double first cousins, all with the same last name. I actually knew (in person) at least 7 people of this generation.
I have spent 25 years gathering and verifying info in personal interviews, archives, cemeteries and other sources. Although not entirely complete the info I do have about members of the Schonthal families is correct.
There is someone by the name of Balazs Deri who, although seemingly not related, keeps posting wildly incorrect information about my aunts, uncles and cousins. Many were Holocaust victims and cannot defend themselves.
My nephew and I have twice written to Mr. Deri about this issue and he gas not replied. Can you help?
