my wife and i accepted the dna partner with familytreedna.com. we were both using the same email address. it appears that both results merged into the site i established on geni for my family. i tried disconnecting account but same matches are there. we wish to seperate results. should she establish a seperate account and the reupload? anyway we think the results were merged into my account on geni since we use the same email on familytreedna. we have changed her email on familytreedna for her since and will reload her results in a seperate geni account. it did not give her a option to establish a new account when she accepted the partner with geni on familytreedna site. please advise what we need to do. thank you. william hayman - haymanw@yahoo.com

Bjørn P. Brox Since you on FTDNA can mave multiple kits connected to the same email you cannot connect the FTDNA kit to Geni having just one Geni account (i.e. doing it from the FTDNA login).
You can however from your Geni login connect multiple FTDNA kits to multiple profiles, in the DNA tab on each profile. You should however make sure you are logged in on correct FTDNA kit matching the profile when doing that or knot logged in at all and be asked.
Just start over again by unlinking the FTDNA kits from the profiles.
