How do you match DNA with ancestors when you do not have dna material from them
this particular purchase says it goes back 6 generations - is that 300 years
I am really unclear how you can make these matches without genetic material. please clarify

That DNA test matches you with other living people that have also taken that same test.

Keenan Willoughby I have had the Family Finder and the mtdna tests done but I only see matches connected to my maternal ggrandfathers side, why?
