The Y-DNA haplotype is not repeated more than 10 generations back

I have 16 generations on my fatherline. The Y-DNA haplogroup is only shown in the 10 latest. How can I get it seen on all my ancestral grandfathers?

Start with Mårten Kvist, Gustav Kvist, Johannes Kvist etc...

The oldest generations from 1630 to 1500 do not have the haplogroup in the profile. Why?

I think it is bug in the program as it tells me that nobody of the descendants have been tested for Y-DNA. It is simply not true! I have been tested and I am a direct descendant from Sipi Sipinpoika (Fränti) b. 1500.

  Currently Geni only propagates to 10 generations.

  Thought that y-DNA was linked back thousands of years, why is it not propagated all the way back?  Whatever the answer is Geni needs to add this to the FAQ for DNA.
