Jason Scott Wills hi, i didnt hack your account. I am a geni curator. the goal of geni is to merge all duplicates together and have a single world tree. if you had concerns why didn't you try contacting me directly instead of blocking me and writing this here?

Geraldine Unpingco I am not familiar with curators. I also do not feel comfortable with someone having total access to my family's geni accounts.
Perhaps, a message to managers from geni,com would be helpful in clearing up such confusion rather than just seeing a non-relative merging family accounts. It is quite alarming actually which lead to my bug report.
However, I will continue to block users until an official message from geni.com is given and I am able to approve and give permission for curators to merge profiles.

Jeff, Geni Curator Geraldine, Geni Curators are formally appointed and, like Geni Employees, they sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the company to ensure they protect data confidentiality. Curators have full access to all trees on Geni and are tasked with helping users, merging duplicates and maintaining the world tree.
