I need to change date listing protocol. I need to change how the date is presented in Events.

When I was trying to add the death date for my mother Judith Ann Squire in events timeline, the system asked how dates are reported mm dd yyyy or dd mm yyyy, and I entered the wrong one and cant correct it. I need it to read 05/10/2024 for May 10th, 2024.
