How to correct false info about my father/grandfather posted by a distant relative

Hi,

I hope someone can help or give advice what to do.

This is a page about my grandfather that a relative has created. My grandfather (who died in 1946) had one son, my father.

That/another relative also added my father using a wrong surname. AND, claiming that my father (who passed away in 2020) was a step child!

This is the first time I encounter this claim that he was a step child. Obviously, this info is false.

I tried contacting the owners of both pages (my father's/grandfather's), but received no replies. I also tried to report these pages as fake, but to no avail.

  Hi Aviad, you can ask a curator to help merge your tree with the public profile for your grandfather. You will then be able to make corrections in the tree yourself. In this case, it appears your grandfather has a duplicate profile that needs to be merged. Once the merge is completed, he should no longer appear as a step parent.
