Hi Kenneth, thanks for your bug report. We have forwarded this to our engineers. We'll let you know as soon as we have an update.
Hi all, we have pushed a fix. Can you please try again?
I am Gerald Wingate Heard and someone or more are adding false information to my family....It has my mother also as my stepmother, I just got a notice that this is my wife's 74th birthday and our 55th anniversary and that she is my half sister-in-law and I am my own half brother....someone is also adding things to my grandparents that is not true and to other relatives.....your site is really screwed up with allowing others to change information on my tree....but I don't even remember putting my tree on GENI....I just suddenly started getting emails from GENI telling me that someone has added to or changed information that I know is correct. AND I can find no way to contact a live person to speak with at GENI...If anyone wants to enlighten me...do so <jerryheard@outlook.com>
Hi Gerald, you can fix this yourself by completing the merges in your tree. You may want to start with your own duplicate account. Here's our FAQ on how to merge your own duplicate accounts: https://help.geni.com/hc/en-us/articles/229705587-How-can-I-merge-my-own-profiles
Once you have merged your account, you can complete the merges for duplicated relatives in the tree https://help.geni.com/hc/en-us/articles/229705547-How-do-I-merge-duplicate-profiles
If you need help merging, you may contact a volunteer curator in this public discussion https://www.geni.com/discussions/286438 .
If you no longer remember the login information for your duplicate account, them please email us at subscriptions@geni.com and we can assist you with merging your accounts.
