Geni Support Team Hi Cyprian, can you please provide more details by what you mean when you say "every time it undo"? Do your changes not save? Can you provide a specific example or let us know the steps you took so that we can reproduce the issue?
-
Cyprian Borowczyk of course. Some of my closest relatives for example siblings of my grandmother profiles dont save when im adding them. I tried repeating this but always after refreashing they still appear in the omitted-add column. What is most important when i look in thier profiles they have localizations. Its same with some of my distant cousins. They have localizations but they arent included in map

Job Waterreus It is possible to add locations to Geni and it is possible to add coordinates for those added entries, but it is possible to leave the coordinates empty. When empty they cannot be shown on the map.
It may help to give an example profile link or a screen print with the problem.

Job Waterreus It seems this one does show the location, can you give an example where it does not show on the map.

Cyprian Borowczyk it doesnt show. it have written localization bo this place on map is empty. A lot of relatives lives in Mokronos but as you can see mokronos on map doesnt have anybody

Job Waterreus Sorry, I misunderstood you.
I'll leave it to Customer Support to help you further.

Geni Support Team Hi Cyprian, the family map includes profiles within your max family group. These include profiles from your third great grandparents to your fourth cousins and closer. For the example you provided, I see that the profile is your fifth cousin, so they would not be included on the map.
Can you give the link to a specific example of a closer relative that is not appearing in the family map? You mentioned your grandmother's siblings. Perhaps a link to one of their profiles?

Cyprian Borowczyk Okay, thanks for help. Can this be changed so that everyone will be visible on map?

-
Geni Support Team Many thanks for the example. I was able to reproduce the issue and have forwarded this to our engineers. I will let you know once I have an update.

Geni Support Team Hi, we pushed a fix. It turns out we were not showing deceased relatives by "Last Residence" (which is what "current residence" becomes after the person passes away).
You should be able to see your close relatives on the map, if they have locations in the "current residence" or "last residence" fields.

Cyprian Borowczyk Thank you. Can i change the numbers of showen relatives? Now its fourth cousins, but if iwant to see all of my relatives, what should i do?
-
Geni Support Team No, the family map only shows relatives within your max family group (third great grandparents/fourth cousins and closer).
