Geni has assigned numerous accounts to me as 'manager' that I DON'T WANT and didn't ask. The accounts are so extremely distant I know nothing about any of them.
I keep getting merge requests from folks that I have to ignore because I don't have accurate information for those accounts and don't want to potentially spread bad info.
I've asked Geni, a few times now, to remove me as manager but have gotten nowhere. How do I fix this? I'm fine managing accounts for a few generations of my ancestors but these folks coming up as
"third great grandfather's wife's second great aunt's husband's great grandson's wife's second cousin thrice removed"
is killing me! I feel terrible that they're waiting and waiting for my help when I have no help to offer.
Thoughts on how to fix this??
