I have a relative, Xavian Christopher Paice, who has added extra relatives on my tree. Please can the work that he has done be undone and then please can my family be set to immediate family so that only they can make changes?

Denying a relative access to his own family is against Geni's goal from day one where the goal is a world family tree where everyone contribute and collaborate and share common relatives.

If you want a tree where you are the only one with access Geni is probably not the correct place for you.
I do however recommend that you to send him a collaboration request instead to give each other full access to public profiles to avoid that he have to add duplicates. I bet he have knowledge of branches where you don't and opposite or does not have time to work on. Take a discussion instead on how to avoid stepping on each other toes, i.e. working on the same branch.

I understand what you are saying but I am only happy for my immediate family to make changes, not people I have never met. I do wish to contact him but I would rather everything he has already done be removed as the merging has created issues that I do not have the knowledge to solve. I was also unaware (obviously mistakenly) that people could make changes without my permission and I thought I had the settings on immediate family only.
Please may you still reverse these changes?

No, - the fact "issues that I do not have the knowledge to solve" shows the power of having a shared tree, - he might have the knowledge to take care of them, - so simply tell him that and kindly ask him to help out with these conflicts.
Since anyone seems to be able to make erroneous changes to my tree, in particular for Robert Harrington, Immigrant Ancestor to Watertown, MBC, please remove all traces of my tree on your service. They are insisting on adding parents that have not been proven, place of birth not proven and in some cases DNA and logic disprove. Also, people want to say he came on the Elizabeth when no ship's manifest finds him on that ship or any other ship.. And more. There is a great deal of controversy about Robert Harrington. Almost no one on your service is citing any primary or even secondary sources. All they are doing is taking someone's say so and repeating it as if it were fact. I don't want erroneous information on my tree. I would rather have the blank space until proof can be found. And I sure don't want anyone else changing my tree. IF I AGREE with their finding, then I can make the changes on my own tree. But since I am not afforded that courtesy, I just want off your service as soon as possible. I'm with Carolyn, this site is very misleading!
WHile I understand they want to make a global tree, errors are propagated and no one uses primary sources. I was just surprised to learn this tonight.
One big horrible lie is all this will be. Real historians would be appalled!
