I even bought myHeritage subscription but it's like I did it for nothing

Geni directed me to myheritage to buy a DNA kit but I can't transfer my results or my family's results to Geni. It seems only Family Tree DNA is accepted - am I doing something wrong or is this not an option?

Hi, we currently do not accept MyHeritage DNA results. However, we do have a partnership with Family Tree DNA. If you would like to receive DNA matches on Geni, you may want to consider exporting your MyHeritage DNA results and uploading them to Family Tree DNA for free here: https://www.familytreedna.com/autosomal-transfer . Once your results have been transferred, you will be able to link your Family Tree DNA account to Geni and import your results.
