I was happy to be on my families tree until a forgotten password sent me off
to start my own tree. I just want the original tree. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here. I created a family years ago. Looks like my account got deleted. The ex-husband became manager and now a certain Ira Ben Davis is managing my family tree. I want my access back as I was the original manager of that family tree.
Elmari Fourie, - it looks like your old account was disconnected and closed by yourself or by someone who had your login in 2013.
The profiles that was added and managed by these profiles was not automatically deleted because it was other users nearby where a delete would cause their tree to be destroyed as well.
The profiles seem to have been remain dormant without a manager in case you re-joined Geni with the same email you had used on that account. The fact that the profiles now have a new manager was actually triggered by yourself by creating a new account and visiting the profiles (it happened only two hours ago according to the revisions), - the system detected that the profiles was without a manager and automatically assigned a new one.
I will restore the old profile of you and merge it with your new account. That will restore you as the adder of the profiles, and when reconnected out can probably take back management of family profiles and optionally remove others in the Manager options in the Actions menu on each profile.
