Somebody screwed up a merge

Somebody merged a guy born in the 1300's with a guy in my tree born in the 1800's. Obviously a big screw-up. But now I have upset Finns contacting me because I am listed as Admin for this person that I have no clue about. I need help undoing the merge.

The incorrect merge was made on Feb 19 by Marja Ikonen. I started to try and fix it but realized I would rather just delete the whole darn tree and stick to Ancestry than deal with that mess. So some help would be appreciated.

  i believe I have the two families unmerged.  The bad merge you saw had been entered as a result of trying to fix other issues, it looks like. 

  The medieval tree no longer has 19th century bell ringers in it, at least. 

  check your tree to see if you need to re-enter any information. sometimes in unmerging things get lost.
