Merge says it worked but it didn't

Two of us have tried to merge Susan Margaret (Pallas) Detwiler with Susan Detwiler. We get messages that it worked, but it still shows the 2 Susan Detwilers as siblings.

  You need the help of a curator to merge living persons or active managers. So it is not bug, but a feature.
