Everyone of the people on my father's mother's line (Caroline Gertrude Winters) seems to have their own tree. There are some serious errors/duplicates on them that need correcting/merging and I can't get them to merge. There are about 20 inconsistencies that I can't resolve. Have been working on this for weeks. Appreciate any help! I'm at the point of deleting my whole account because GENi is too confusing to use.

This kind of problems a curator can help you with. I will look if can do the merges needed.

It is very wise to move this request to correct public discussion. Because this not an easy situation and needs to be monitored by the curator team. Also the number of open merges needs to go back to 0 and it is easy to mis one. So please post a comment at the moment it is back to 0.
I did some of merges. The dataconflicts and the treeconflicts I can not do. I don't have the knowledge to make the correct choices.
Thanks so much, Jeroen, for whatever you could do! I have not checked my tree yet, but will do so and get back to you. The past 2 weeks I tried doing the merge duplicate profiles options and "assign parents" or whatever, and after I did that to about 10 individuals, it said "duplicate trees" were merged successfully, but then nothing changed!
I looked at the problem and for a basic user. Merging is working at another way, then for a pro user.
So I have done a lot of the merging and cleaning up the tree. As my father use to say the wall between basic and pro users blocks a lot of information and tools. And from my side it is very easy. But I can understand that as a basic user solving the same problems will take 2 weeks.
Ah, this makes me feel much better! So that is the problem I'm having with merging. I would upgrade now but am on a fixed income, so must save up.
