If I do a search for "Joe Schmoe" who is not already on my Tree, and it shows that he is related to me and shows the lineage, how do I download/merge that whole lineage of names into my Tree? or do I have to manually enter each and every one of them?

I am not sure what you mean by download. If the tree is on Geni, it is on Geni. No need to download. If the person needs to be attached to your tree and is not yet attached, then use the move-merge process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoJwfOB8UH0
You can download a GEDCOM file if you want to export that whole lineage of names.
But if you want connect or merge that whole lineage to your tree. The best is to enter the missing link manually and then merge. But moving son to the correct father also helps a lot. If you need help with that you can always ask the assistance of a Curator like me or Mr. Schoenberg. See other comments there to find the curators or to contact them.
Perhaps I should ask this a different way because no one is understanding me.
When I refer to "my tree", I am referring to the tree I created when I became a member of Geni.com, when I created profiles for myself, my parents, siblings, aunts/uncles, grandparents, great grandparents, etc. When I did a search for Queen Elizabeth II it was because she was not already in "my tree" - that is, I did not create a profile for her when I first built my tree, because I did not have the names of the relatives that connect me to her. When I did a Geni.com search for her it showed me all of those connecting relatives. What I was looking for was an answer as to how to get all of those names onto "my tree". I was looking for some link or tab or button or something to click to merge the whole lineage into "my tree" rather than having to manually add each and every one individually, which would be mind-numbingly painstaking.
So what I'm asking is, if I search for someone, like Queen Elizabeth, and it shows we are connected, does the system automatically merge the entire lineage into "my tree" (that is, when I go back and look at "my tree", will I see that all of the relatives connecting me to the queen, which were not already in "my tree", has now magically appeared in "my tree") or, will I have to right down each person's name, search for them one by one, and then manually merge each one into "my tree"?
Really, its quite a simple question and I can't possibly be the only person asking this since there are no instructions anywhere (or anywhere easily found) and no phone number to call to ask how to do anything. I'm accustomed to using Ancestry.com for the past 15+ years which is really easy to navigate and has phone assistance. You guys have been using Geni.com for a while and you know how to navigate it, so you can't expect us new members to know what to do or how things work. When I paid for membership here, the contract guaranteed "priority assistance" and I've yet to find it, and this is becoming extremely frustrating. Is there anyone who understands what I'm saying and can give me a clear response?

The only response is really a different version of what Eric wrote above.
You entered profiles into Geni, and you are thinking of those profiles as "your" tree. But unless you keep a tree REALLY small, it gets connected to the World Tree.
And should.
Geni is working towards one World Tree. One profile per person.
this means that at the point at which you connect your tree to the World Tree -- and clearly you have, since it's showing you that you are connected to Queen Elizabeth -- you are at that point connected to everybody in the World Tree.
So you don't add the line. The line is there. Yes, "magically."
Indeed, if you add the line, you'll be creating a duplicate line, which then needs to get merged in, and everything is messy, and it's a lot of work.
So you're done, with your Queen Elizabeth line.
The most useful thing to do on Geni is to follow your lines on up, and see where any of them end, and add in -- with primary sources! -- anybody who's not in the tree already.
Thank you all for your input, but I don't think anyone is quite understanding my question, and it is hard to describe what I'm asking without visual imagery, but I will try again.
I built "my" tree (that is, I created my own profile, then added my parents' profiles, then my grandparents' profiles, etc., up a few generations). Only the very last grandparent – the last profile - in the lineage that I created (let’s call her “Debbie”) connected to the Geni World Tree (i.e. her profile had already been created by another member); HOWEVER, I only discovered this fact by doing searches for my connection to a celebrity. BEFORE I did that search, when I would go to my father’s profile, then click on his mothers’ profile, then on her fathers’, etc, going up to Debbie’s profile, the line dead-ended with her. The line did not magically/automatically connect Debbie to the Geni world tree. It was only after I did a search for a celebrity and Geni showed that celebrity’s connection to “Debbie” that I saw all the people connecting Debbie to the celebrity. So Geni doesn’t instantaneously merge a profile I made with a profile already made by someone else.
SO, my question is: once I found the connection between “Debbie” and the celebrity through doing a name search, how do I attach that lineage of names to Debbie SO THAT when I go to my father’s profile and then climb up his mother’s branch, grandparent to grandparent up to Debbie, I will see HER parent and then her grandparent, etc, climbing to that celebrity? Is no one honestly understanding what I’m saying? All of those names in the lineage between Debbie and the celebrity that I found solely by a search were not attached to Debbie before I did the search. Everyone keeps replying as though, once I create a profile of someone who is already in the Geni world tree, it will automatically merge them. IT DOES NOT. So do I have to go to the profiles that SOMEONE ELSE ALREADY MADE BEFORE ME for Debbie’s parents and then individually, manually merge them, or is there a feature that just lets me merge the entire line of people with Debbie that I found in the search for the celebrity? Does anyone understand me? I’m already frustrated with this because I’m paying for this service and Geni customer service absolutely refuses to respond to any of my inquiries. If no one knows the answer to my question, fine, but please do not tell me that Geni automatically merges the profiles I create with those that are already in the system; if that were true I would not be here nearly pulling my hair out in frustration trying to figure this out.
I don't say I fully understand your question, but I will try to answer the questions. One I have found is about automaticly merging. Yes, it is the users that do the merges. The Geni software does only find the matches so the users can do the mergers. Beter is to fill in the missing profiles.
I hope this answers some of the questions and that I got your point.
I do think you need to add the path into your tree that you find. At least, that is what I did. Not sure if I doubled up anything by doing so, but unless it just takes time to "auto merge," I could not see the connection without doing so.
