Why do uninvited and unwanted entries appear on my tree and how do I delete them?

Anne Brannen Because Geni is a collaborative site, working towards one World Tree, unless you have a VERY small tree, it's going to get merged into other branches; that's part of the way the site works.
If any of those connections are wrong, however, the curators can detach bad links, or unmerge bad merges (we don't usually undo good ones, though).
One way to get help quickly is to go to the Discussion forum -- up at the top of the page are some pinned threads where you can ask for curator help.

Graham George How and where do www.geni.com get information regarding family trees back so far ie around 1000 ad, when I can't get same information from Scotlands People in this case? Also how accurate is this information ?
