I am adding profiles to my family tree on Geni and it will not allow it. The free account is supposed to allow free unlimited. I was duped to change my Geni Pro Account to have a MyHeritage account and not happy w that at all. My Heritage owns both, so why would I need to pay for both? I will ditch the My Heritage account when it is up. Many problems w system. But am invested w my tree here until I can find software to store my info at no ongoing charge. Just a shame to not be able to share it openly.

Jeroen M.W. van Dijk Geni and MyHeritage are two services owned by the same company. But with a different set of rules. The free account on Geni allows to add unlimited profiles to the tree. On MyHeritage there is a limit.
If you want invest time and money into a good service and good website may I suggest to do it on Geni.
I don't understand what goes wrong on Geni. Adding new profiles to profiles you manage should be possible.
I hope you will continue to share the information openly about your family tree.
Maybe if you give an example with a link I can better understand what is the problem.

Kevin Carter Geni is not allowing me to add further profiles still. This has never happened before. I click add family and fill out the profile and it does not show after saving it. So there is no link to show.

Geni Support Team Hi, Kevin,
You do not need to upgrade to add relatives to Geni. All users may add unlimited people to the tree for free.
Can you please provide more details about the steps you took and what occurs when you try to add a profile? Please let us know what version of the tree you have tried adding a person (Flash or HTML tree), and what browser and version you are using.
