Trying to upload my Geni Gedcom file to Ancestry, but getting error message saying it is an invalid file. What can I do?

  First check on an other way is it really an invalid file. There are enough Gedcom edities around.

  It turns out I needed to open the zip file and the file ending in "ged" was in there! This is in the book "Gedcom for Dummies" :) I should have read it!
