Starting a new tree

I've created my tree but am doing a different tree for someone else. How do I go about doing that?"

  From your profile page (though I think any Geni page will do except Tree View), go up to the top bar and click on Research.

  in the drop down menu, choose Create a New Branch.

  and you will get a profile editing window that is not attached to your tree.  or, indeed, any tree.
