Hi there, I suppose I am a bit daft but I cannot find out how to make a person on a family tree show their name, and NOT be Anonymous, i.e.my wife and brother for example

Your help please

  Show where?

  
  Public? For living people: not a chance because of privacy rules. The exception is Master Profiles (famous people) or user profiles where you set your can choose to show your name.
  
  If the name is set and you are logged in you can see the full name of all family members that is private profiles, unless they block you.

  Hi, thanks for that. This is my own tree and living relatives. Being anonymous can prevent matching surley.

  Matches within Geni is not affected (unless blocked), but external matches depends on settings both sides.
  To allow MyHeritage users to get matches to your Geni profiles you have a setting here https://www.geni.com/account_settings/managed_profiles, and a similar setting on MyHeritage
