It is unbearably slow, and it BOTCHES any attempt to move profiles on the tree to anywhere *except* on top of a matching profile. Trying to add/change spouses produces a slew of blank profiles that CANNOT be resolved by moving the desired profile on top of the blank - this just produces ANOTHER BLANK.
You need to get on the stick, guys, Flash is going away in little more than a year. You CAN'T force your users to struggle with this Bugfest if you want to keep them!
Hi, thanks for your feedback. The HTML tree is still a work in progress and our team is working hard to move all of the Flash features to the new HTML version of the tree.
We are unable to reproduce the issue you are reporting. Can you please let us know what browser and version you are using? Please also post a screenshot so that we can get a better understanding of what you are seeing.
Was attempting to work with Firefox 63.0.1. Screenshot no longer possible because I gave up and switched back to Google Chrome and the still-supported Flash tree (I avoid Google Chrome for any other purpose).
What I was attempting to do was to create a replacement father for a mis-fathered profile. Creating the replacement was not the problem - getting the profile properly moved and linked WAS. I moved it onto the new father, and instead of linking to the existing mother, the HTML tree sprouted a brand-new blank female profile. Tried re-linking to the existing mother, it sprouted a new blank male profile. And by the way, trying to drop either profile onto the appropriate blank - just produced MORE blanks. No matter what I tried, I *COULD NOT* get that profile attached to existing mother and new father.
So I gave up, switched back to Chrome and Flash, and got the situation cleaned up PDQ.
Thanks for the additional details. We were able to reproduce this and have forwarded it to our engineers.
In the mean time, you can also fix the parents by clicking 'Edit' on the child's node and select the 'Relationship' tab. In the parent drop down, select the correct set of parents and save.
