When I am replying to a message received on Geni, I cannot see a way to save the message, before sending it. If I leave the page, by going to another tab in my browser, the message I have written before has disappeared. This is very annoying.
Maybe there is a way to save messages before they are sent. If not, please can you suggest this to your development team please?
Sounds like a setting in your browser. I am using Google Chrome and I have no problems on writing on a message at the same time as I switch between different windows and tabs

Thank you for contacting Geni Support. The private message feature only has the option to save messages that have already been sent/received. However, if you are composing a message and you open another tab in your browser the unsent message will remain as is until you go back to the tab where the unsent message is. If you go to a different page in the same tab where the unsent message is then you would lose the message. A suggestion with replies you wish to send but still working on drafting the reply would be to compose your reply in a separate program such as Notepad or Microsoft Word, etc. so you do not lose your message and when your message is ready you can copy and paste the message in Geni.
