Someone has hijacked profiles that I entered on geni.  How can they do this?   How can I get my data back?

  I wish I had the answer ! I have had the same issue with several people messing up my tree.

  I have the same problem, entered data incl couple of photos about year ago. Now its all gone.

  Same issue here. I entered 101 profiles of my relatives to Geni and already 41 of them have been hijacked... stolen ! What the hell is going on here. This platform really disappointed me.

  Do you guys have contact to someone I can talk about this?

  I just add people to my tree and someone within an hour merge my tree with unrelated trees with the same names, from the same area, but should not have been linked at all.  There for when it comes time to renew my pro status, I will not give my money to this website again.  This is not the first time.  I can't even correct my own mistakes making this a useless web sited for accurate information.  I am now finished with adding anything to my tree!

  Same here. Someone hijacked my father's profile that I entered. I can't remove them. Now there is a bunch of incorrect information. What is going on?

  I just had the same issue.  I am no longer going to use this site.
