Trying to import my GEDCOM tree but the site insists that I must acept or remove matches. When I try to do this is just takes me to the free trial and subscription site and will not allow me to remove the two matches (which are not matches at all).

Jim Henderson Aine, your comment will probably lead to improvements in the way the GEDCOM import facility works. While you are waiting for that to happen, I suggest you use SmartCopy instead. With this, you can copy from another online site, a family at a time, and deal with any duplications more effectively than the experience that you report.
