When both of my sons were born, their dad added boys to Geni. Since we are divorced and he has blocked me it has resulted in me not being able to access my own sons profiles. Please amend privacy settings for minors allowing access to both parents.

Geni Customer Support Official comment Although in general we do not want duplicate profiles on Geni, in cases such as this where there's a family dispute in the most-recent few generations, it may be best to split the tree (ask a curator for help if you cannot do it yourself: https://www.geni.com/discussions/192543 ) and for each of you to maintain your own copies of profiles for the children.

Jeroen M.W. van Dijk In general please read this page https://www.geni.com/safety it will not give the answer, but give background information.
The same goes for this page https://www.geni.com/company/privacy#full_privacy
so if children are added to to Geni under the age of 13 then that information is blocked.

Jeroen M.W. van Dijk Because of this reasons and because it is about privacy of minors I will try to give an answer directly and not on this public forum.

ELĪNA KĻAVIŅA Thanks for the input from both of you. I've reached out to the profile manager to give me the manager's access to my children profiles.
