I would like to know why was I removed from being a manager by Geni on many profiles I have created (and was the original primary manager) and somebody else was nominated as the primary manager. This was done on October 31st 2018.

Mike I saw this happen to me as well for several tree entries.
"... was removed as a manager of <insert name> by Customer Service."

Geni Support Team Hi Mike, can you please provide the link to a specific example?

Misty Ann Pachnosky Hi,
I would like to know why I was removed as manager on a family tree that I created. Apparently this is a common problem as I see many others have been unjustly removed from the family trees they created due to a bug/glitch in your system. I would appreciate if you could please re-instate me as manager over my aunt's profile as she has recently passed away and I would like to record it and can not. I sent several messages to Geni but no one has responded, leading me to believe that maybe Geni is no longer in business?

Geni Support Team Hi Misty, the removal was not a glitch. You were removed as a manager because your aunt had claimed her account with her email address. The actual glitch (which is what we corrected) was that you had remained a manager after she claimed her account.
We are sorry to hear about your aunt's passing. Please report her account as Deceased by clicking on the "Actions" button on her profile and select "Report." In the dropdown, choose "Deceased" and leave a comment. Once our customer service team reviews the report, we will unclaim her account so that you may edit it to reflect her passing.
Please see our FAQ for more information on how to report a relative as deceased: https://help.geni.com/hc/en-us/articles/229706547-How-do-I-report-a-profile-as-Deceased
