I recently had a major subscription problem with myHeritage and their subscription pyramid (each time you try to find information, you must subscribe to a different level or tier). Trying to figure out the relationship of Geni and MyHeritage since there seems to a connection. I certainly do not want to get into the MyHeritage system again after finally ending up cancelling my subscription. Any information would be helpful. Direct email is larrymoss@aol.com.

Geni Support Team Hi Larry,
MyHeritage is Geni's parent company. However, the two websites continue to operate separately. On Geni, we have two account types: basic (free) and ProWith a basic (free) account, you can add unlimited people to the tree, collaborate with others, and take advantage of our DNA features in partnership with Family Tree DNA. Those who would like access to more features may upgrade to Pro, which gives you access to Tree Matches (matching profiles on Geni), full access to our search engine, and priority support. Note it is not required to upgrade to use Geni.We also offer Record Matches and Smart Matches in partnership with MyHeritage. These require a separate MyHeritage data subscription to view and confirm to your Geni profiles. You can read more about our subscriptions in the following FAQs:
