I found the interesting case.
The screenshot show that the child was born after father's death. It is ok because the child can be conceived when the father was still alive.
The correct algorithm:
1. check if mother was alive when the child was born
2. check that the father died not earlier than 9 months before the child was born
If any of checks failed - show the inconsistency.
Also take into the account that the dates can be shifted. For example, the child birth are counted as by "new style" (+2 weeks) and and the death of father by "old style"

It is a warning. But I agree with point 2.
But anomalie is an anomalie. Also with the modern technics it is possible to be the father of a child long, long after the death of the father. But still it is a rare situation.

All the dates are in the new style, so far as I know no dates on Geni are in the old style.
