Hi,
Geni reports a blood line between me
https://www.geni.com/people/Eerik-Yrj%C3%B6l%C3%A4/6000000017004716093
and
https://www.geni.com/people/Jere-Markkanen/6000000018387495596
stating two lines of which the upper one is a "blood line" to my wife and the botton line a "blood line" to myself.
This is however not true at all as the reported "blood line" runs through Jere's adoptive grandfather, who is a blood relative. To him Jere is not a blood relative. So, in fact, neither me nor my wife ia a blood relative to Jere.
Only real blood relatives should be reported as blood relatives. We should keeep facts as facts and not produce fake relationships, which is a key issue in all family research.
My grandfather was an adoptive grandfather for whome I have a similar affection than to a blood relative. Colours of lines do not change this fact either way.
With kind regards
Eerik Yrjölä
