Every time I update the profile of a relative of mine, anybody who has accepted their Geni email invitation is notified - does anyone know of a way to disable these "public" notifications? Thanks, Justin

Bjørn P. Brox Re: Notifications: At the bottom of each mail they get there is instructions on how to stop or reduce them.
As with all sites with a login you find your account settings by clicking your own name at the top, and there you find a News & Notifications section where you as the active part can reduce your own activity notifications under under Recent Activity -
Marja Anneli Ojala (Hyörtti) That's not the answer to my question. I wanted to know how to download from Gen to GEDCOM.
How do I bypass that error code? -

Justin Asaraf @Bjorn Thank you. But is there a way to invite one of my family members to join my tree (through creating a Geni account) but automatically making their account preferences so that they wouldn't receive any email updates from Geni.com?
My goal is to allow my elderly relatives to just view my whole tree once from their personal computer, without ever having to receive notifications from Geni.com...
