Keri Denise Jackson, ♊ Twin A, GEDMATCH GQ346442C1 If you believe that a profile manager is not active whatever the reason you can click on the actions box on the top right of the profile and select Inactive Manager. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Thank you.

Stanley Gary Burech Thanks for the reply. The tree fails to have an "edit" button by this person, the way others in the tree have, so I cannot edit. See attached. The profile shows only who added this person in 2010, and he is deceased. See attached.

Again, I appreciate your help and wish there was a manual or book on using Geni. -
Keri Denise Jackson, ♊ Twin A, GEDMATCH GQ346442C1 Another thing you can do is go to the profile and at the top right you will see a button that says Action. In the drop down menu select report and then select a reason and explain in the box.

Carol Ann Burley When I signed up for a Geni account, it gave me my father's account who died in 1984. So I kept it, not realizing the problems it creates. How do I become the manager of the account, so that I can link to other trees and not have to recreate everything? The account does use my email, but I'm the daughter. I think my brother set up this account under his name, however my brother passed away last spring.
