Need to undo a merge

Hi!

I merged my personal profile with my broter's version of my profile. However, he has his very own way of entering in titiles as what they are relative to him, not proper titles. So the end result now is that i've double up of all my family members, and it's a chaos to no end, and i don't want to start "correcting" his profiles. If i can just undo the merge and have everything back to normal, that would be nice. Sorry for this stupid situation.

  Hello Børre,

  This is not a stupid question, the solution you propose however is not necessarily the best one. 

  The problem is two-fold:

  A) you brother and you have both created profiles for the same people. "Duplicates"

  B) your brother has added descriptions into the Title fields of his profiles, he is not the first to have done this and won't be the last.

  When I look at your brother's profile Geni tells me that he has only added 8 profile's to the tree. Merging 8 profiles and removing the descriptive words from their title fields shouldn't take you more than 10 or 20 minutes. If you'd just gone ahead and done the merges you'd have finished by now.
