Hi - I started my families Geni tree 13 years ago and have added almost 1K profiles w/much info/photos etc. Recently, a cousin has been able to added himself as Primary Manager to all of the family profiles that have never been claimed and I'm showing as just a Manager? How do I remove him? Or at least reinstate myself as Primary Manager. Thanks for any help!

Keri Denise Jackson, ♊ Twin A, GEDMATCH GQ346442C1 There is not a primary manager of any profile that I am aware of. There is only the person that added the profile, all the people that manage a profile (which can be quite a lot. Mostly people who are also related) and Curator (if the profile has one). There is no manager that has special privileges over the other managers. Not sure what you are wanting to do. The order of the managers has nothing to do with anything.

Permanently deleted user Hi Kari -
Under Revisions on my grandmother's profile it shows that on 2/20/2020 "David Glyn Peters, Jr. was made primary manager of Violet Emma Peters (Briscoe)."
And, on her profile page his name is highlighted (see below)
Managed by: Bonnie Aliviado (Peters) and David Glyn Peters, Jr. He's done nothing/added nothing to her or many of other profiles that his name is now on a Primary Manager.
Can anyone add themselves to any unclaimed profiles?
Thanks for your time!

Zol Aziz Hi Keri, as Bonnie has highlighted that there is a primary profile manger ---name in bold and recorded in audit trail (in revision tab)

Zol Aziz Surely, there is a different between primary profile manager and non-primary profile manager, else why bother to differentiate, but no one has made this different clear and all we hear is that they are practically the same so just treat them the same. May be the different is purely for Geni's own internal consumption whatever it may be.
