  Hi, if you are using the HTML version of the tree, you will not see the Preferences tab. Instead, you may click on the gear icon to the left of the page to change the number of generations to display.

  The Preferences tab is still available in the Flash version of the tree. Simply switch to the Flash version of the tree to adjust your tree preferences.
