how do I see the part of the tree relating to one person i.e. my father + siblings, to their father without siblings so that I can get what I want to look at on one page

Brad Lee White It doesn't look to me like we have any control over what shows in the HTML Tree.
If you go to Tree in the top menu and select Flash Tree, then you'll have a small amount of control.
Go to preferences and you can select how many ancestors and descendants you want to show.Your other option, I think, is to select someone high enough in the tree, that puts them at the center, that lower levels don't show.
Good luck.

Brad Lee White I stand corrected. Once you set your preferences in the flash tree, including Direct Ancestors Only, it looks like the HTML tree respects that.
Hope that helps,
Brad. -
Russell Stanton I haven't been on here in a long time but I had a pretty big tree established and now I only can see about 20% of the work I put in to make my family tree. Do I have to do something to see the rest of it?

Brad Lee White Can you give an example of something specific that seems to be missing?
Say, it shows your grandfather and should also show your great-grandfather, what do you see in place of your great-grandfather?
And if you go your grandfather's record, is your great-grandfather NOT listed there as parent? If you are missing brothers, are they also missing as sons of the parents?
