Please put in an urgent request for a solution to this.
I have been a PRO member for years, and have been a curator for some months.
I understand that you want extra security for curators, but the google authenticator is very frustrating. Sometimes it works perfectly, then for no valid reason the numbers it provides are useless. Again and again the geni login page responds with “The security code you provided was incorrect. Please try again.”
We really need a way I can opt to log in as an ordinary user and not as a curator, so I can reinstall the authenticator and link it to geni as described for curators.
Or perhaps there could be some secret questions and answers for when the authenticator fails.
Or is there another authenticator we could use instead of the google one?
Does the “Log in with facebook” option work if the authenticator stops working?
