I used to see new matches on my list of Autosomal DNA Matches daily or every other day. Now there has been no updates on my list for 13 days. I wonder if no new matches have really appeared, or if there has been a problem in Geni, or if a setting has been changed on my account, preventing match linking. H

Natalia Ardasheva This feature has not been working for a long time. I called FTDNA and contacted geni by mail, but the solution has not been found. Occasionally, I receive updates that they are working on it. I just tested my tree, trying to connect DNA for some of my family members, but the issue persists and I am unable to sync the DNA information to the tree on geni. I am also not getting any new matches for relatives with DNA connected to the tree prior to this issue.. It's unfortunate since that was one of my favorite benefits of using this website. I am surprised how long it is taking geni to address this problem. I suspect they don't have enough staff to resolve this problem in a timelier manner.

Geni Support Team Hi all, there is currently an issue with FTDNA sending the data to us. We are in communication with the FTDNA team and they are still working on resolving this problem. Colleen Johnson It is now mid-August 2021 I have not had matches for a long time. I only get updates about birthdays etc which I don't find useful at all. I am a Pro member and I am very disappointed with the stagnation on this site.
